Kristin Frank is an herbalist who has been studying plants and their medicinal properties for the past four years. I did an apprenticeship at a local Herb farm in New Hampshire and have continued to study the plant world on my own. Herbs and their uses have opened up many doors for me and I have chosen to share my knowledge and know-how with others through verbal guidance, written informatives and hands on experience. I recently began an herbal body care business called Essential Botanicals with a fellow herbalist and friend. Come check out our products under the tent! Today, along with another fellow herbalist friend, Melissa Clopton, we will be teaching about the many uses of some popular and not so popular plants that are native to this area and that are extremely helpful and beneficial for summertime use. Come and discover the many wonders of the plant world such as: How to identify some of natures gifts in your own back yard; How to make your own all natural, harm-free insect repellent; How and what to stock in a first aid kit to keep you safe and healthy throughout the summer months;
What essential oils and other forms of plant medicine can help in times of need throughout the summer.
